Grey’s Anatomy & therapy

I have a confession to make I love Grey”s Anatomy, second confession when in separate parts of the world my daughter Nicola and I watch it then chat about what’s going on in it.  The past month being here in the UK I noticed it was available on Amazon Prime and had to buy it so whilst here we could indulge in watching, laughing, crying, worrying and generally enjoying it all.

We are getting to the last episodes and last night I was super excited when they showed Owen going to see a therapist who uses a holistic approach, Neuro Emotional Technique.   Watching the the clip made me smile and laugh! As we see Owen asking “are you a real therapist, do you practice that alternative holistic voodoo stuff, because I don’t do or believe in any of that stuff!! Oh that sounds so familiar!

I originally went to a TFT (Thought Field Therapy) advanced DX training with muscle testing with Doctor Roger Callahan back in 2006 and was quite simply blown away by some of what I learnt and experienced. Using manual muscle testing we could islolate where ‘trauma, stress responses, emotional blocks, phobias, fears etc.;  appeared to be sitting and more importantly where they seemed to be stuck in the body, and unblock them.

Put that together with being a trainer of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) a certified Ericksonian hypnotherapist, PPT (Patterns of Physical Transformation) to name but a few of my qualifications I soon realised I had some amazing therapeutic modalities that I could combine and use.

To see Neuro-Emotional Technique on a mainstream TV show was great.

After 15 years in practice I am somewhat of an alchemist and use a combination of the modalities that I know to enable clients to make change. You never know how far a change can go.

Anyhow take a look at the video clip and if you want to know more about how I work using ‘holistic voodoo and stuff’ drop me an email.
